Thirty-two of our houses sit in the luxury tier: private estates and palaces from £1,100 a night, sleeping anywhere from six to fifty. Every one has its own pool, a resident housekeeping team, and the whole property to your party alone.

Luxury here is not a word we add to a listing. It is a price band — these are the villas that start above £1,100 a night — and what that buys is space, staff and privacy: walled gardens rather than shared terraces, a house team who live on site, and rooms enough that a family of twenty is not on top of each other.

They range widely. La Mamounia Palace sleeps six in the middle of the city; Villa Katia sleeps fifty on its own grounds. Some sit in the Palmeraie among the palms, others on the Ourika road with the Atlas mountains behind them. Each villa's page lists exactly what that house includes.
